The way it’s being explained to him is so reasonable, as clinical as the short sexual education class in school, so it doesn’t make sense why something like sex could kill a person, but he nods and says, "Okay, Daddy," wanting to to seem grown up and like he understands how things like this work.

Deep down, he is still a player wanting to be whole again. A player wanting to get back his old connections and live a normal life. A player, who had lost his physical body and the ability to interact with his surroundings in the process of becoming a Watcher.
This story is a journey of learning to live once more, finding and returning to normal when "normal" seems unattainable, and finally being able to love yourself again.
