“—you to be, like, civil to me,” Étienne continues, worrying his lip between his teeth. “Tomorrow. During deployment. Just—let’s keep it cool. Can we, just, like, try to do that? Just try. I’ve never been on a ship before, and I really want to focus for my first time out.”
Wesley’s fingers clench and unclench against his palm. “It takes two to play that game,” he grumbles.
