Summary
Before the investigation in Jinlan City, Shen Qingqiu is hit by a curse that forces him to speak his mind. Unfortunately, this means that the first thing he does when he sees Luo Binghe for the first time in three years is to tell Luo Binghe that he's grown up to be really quite pretty.
Luo Binghe, not sure what's going on but absolutely enjoying the ride, abandons all his plans immediately. He has new priorities now, including but not limited to:
- get his Shizun to call him 'pretty' again
- steal his Shizun away from his (probably in existence) harem

"Yes, you've already said as much, shidi. Several times." Yue Qingyuan looked like he wanted to die a little bit, which was unfair. He wasn't the one who'd been dosed with a wife-plot potion designed to lower inhibitions while also compelling the truth! If anyone here should be embarrassed, it was Shen Qingqiu!
He didn't feel embarrassed, though. That was probably due to the potion, now that he thought about it.

Summary

The System is shut down for good, meaning Shen Qingqiu has the freedom to live however he wants. He settles into a happy, lazy life with the protagonist waiting on him hand and foot, but when Shen Qingqiu begins to catch hints of his disciple having romantic feelings for someone, he begins to panic. Luo Binghe can't leave him, Shen Qingqiu doesn't remember how to take care of himself!!
Desperate to hold on to his cute disciple, Shen Qingqiu sets out to find Luo Binghe's love interest, determined to destroy their relationship.

And then he remembers himself and lurches forward. His voice is a tangle in his throat but he manages to choke out, “Shixiong!”
A strike of lightning couldn’t have jolted Shen Yuan into more perfect stillness. He stops mid-step, every inch of him as good as carved from precious jade. He doesn’t turn his head, and the sliver of his face visible from where Luo Binghe stands is very pale.

Luo Binghe’s eyes were wide as he allowed himself to get backed into a wall. “Is there anything this disciple can do to relieve Shizun’s tension?”
Shen Qingqiu shut his fan with a loud snap. Luo Binghe’s eyes darkened with excitement at the noise, then widened again when Shen Qingqiu’s next move was to sharply pinch his cheek. “Who gave you the right to be so cute, ah?” Shen Qingqiu asked, shaking Luo Binghe lightly with the grip on his cheek.

Shen Qingqiu experiences cuteness aggression and has no choice but to treat his husband like a chewtoy. Luo Binghe has no complaints.
