Summary
HYDRA had raised him to be a tool. His father had nurtured him to think for himself. It had taken a group of strangers, however, to teach Tony what it was to be a person–-and what it meant to have people worth living for.
Free will was never meant to be part of the package, but neither were the friends and family he found along the way. Tony managed to find a purpose far greater than that which had been intended for him. And it all started when he found the determination to leave behind the only life he’d ever known.
