He heard both of their screams over the sounds of the wolves. He felt the way Wei Ying trembled, hands almost painfully tightening their hold on Lan Zhan’s neck, refusing to let go, to let the wolf have access to the precious skin.
A wolf jumped on top of them, pressing them both down onto the forest floor.
This is it, Lan Zhan thought, refusing to close his eyes, forcing himself to keep his gaze open, eyes locked onto Wei Ying’s.
Then, there was a glow coming from behind Wei Ying, Lan Zhan’s eyes widened as it wound around them before pulling, taking both of them with it.

“With his brother.” Madara said, and Tobirama stiffened.
“Madara!” Tobirama twisted, shoving at him.
“. . .ah, ‘but not like that’, you mean?”
“No, no, exactly like that.” Madara said with a twist of a smirk, and Tobirama groaned silently, bringing a hand up and squeezing the bridge of his nose. “But only the once. For Konohagakure.” he said in a virtuous tone.
“Oh kami. Madara.” Tobirama was laughing as he tried to scold his lover, and the confused, uncomfortable, slightly alarmed look on the shinobi’s face as he watched them and slowly edged backwards was not helping him control his amusement.
“It’s the truth.” Madara said innocently as they were suddenly alone once more, which didn’t suit him at all and made Tobirama’s laughter worse.

Draco gets better at it, does a course on it, and takes enough commissions for charmed jewellery that he eventually opens his own shop.
But Harry doesn’t know any of this. So when he sees Malfoy in a shop of charmed necklaces, he immediately tries his best to uncover Malfoy’s machinations.

So when Peter was introduced to the Rogue Avengers (who so happened to be pardoned and shipped off to the Compound), Wanda noticed this straight away. She felt drawn to him -- like it was her duty to protect him. So she did.
Wanda Maximoff never quite figured out where this preventative attitude came from, but she had a good guess that when Pietro passed, the hole in her heart throbbed for someone to fill it again. That so happened to be Peter. (It also didn’t help that he was a Wiccan like her.)

Summary
Seventeen years old Shadowhunter Maryse Trueblood ends up in the Seelie Realm after a botched mission -- wounded and in need of help. A handsome Seelie saves her and they fall in love.
Maryse eventually returns to her own world, sick and acting unlike herself. Robert Lightwood inadvertently becomes involved with this, as he is infatuated with Maryse, and the two seek out Magnus Bane for help in searching for a warlock healer to treat her. Eventually this bonds the group, forming a alliance btwn Nephilim & Warlocks...with a secret so incredible yet potentially a threat to the existing order -- that it was voluntarily struck out from Shadow World history by an extensive memory wipe -- everyone forgets, including the warlock enacting the wipe himself.
With the alliance and all related events erased from memory, friends become foes, the Last Stand of the NY Institute still occurs, and events carry on as everyone knows them today.
